Trust policy

Commercial links do not buy conclusions.

Editorial independence

Editors choose topics, comparisons and conclusions based on traveler usefulness. A partner cannot pay to become the recommended answer or remove a fair disadvantage from a comparison.

How we use sources

Visa, entry, fares, schedules and operating rules are checked against government, tourism authority or service-operator sources. Traveler communities help us identify recurring problems, but one post is not treated as a general fact. Booking platforms are used to compare availability and terms, not as independent proof that a product is best. Local publications help shape reporting questions; their words, photos and personal experiences are not copied as our own.

First-hand notes

Content labeled as local or first-hand experience must come from an editor’s own dated observation. When we have not checked something ourselves, we present it as sourced information and link readers to the operator for a final travel-day check.

Affiliate links

Some accommodation, activity or connectivity links may earn a commission at no extra cost to the reader. Those links are labeled close to the decision they support. A useful non-affiliate option remains eligible for inclusion.

Advertising

Ads appear only on reviewed editorial pages and answered public questions. They do not appear in the private moderation queue, private contact flow or pending user submissions.

Sponsored work

Any sponsored placement must be clearly labeled and kept visually distinct from independent recommendations.
