112

Do this now

  1. Move to a staffed, well-lit place or behind a locked door when you can do so safely.
  2. Call 112. Say ‘English please’ or ‘Interpreter please,’ then give the Korean address, station exit or visible landmark.
  3. State what is happening now, whether the person is still nearby and whether anyone is injured.

After you are safe

  • Preserve messages, photos, payment records and a short timeline without confronting the person.
  • Ask police for the report or case number and what record an insurer or embassy can receive.
  • Tell a trusted person and your accommodation how to contact you.

Do not

  • Do not chase a suspect or follow a device location into a private or unsafe place.
  • Do not post identifying evidence or passport details publicly.
  • Do not wait for 1330, an insurer or this website when police help is needed now.
